Hi, my name is Kelsang. I have been in the beauty industry for over a decade now, and I absolutely love it! I am extremely passionate about all things beauty and get immense joy from making people feel amazing about themselves. I completed my ITEC diploma in beauty and complementary therapies from Mary Reid International Spa Academy and then gained further specialism in threading & advanced eye treatments, nail enhancements and intimate waxing as part of my continuous professional development. Over the last 10 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with several reputed beauty salons and spas in Edinburgh and relished every opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skill set. I would say meeting new people every day and attending to their needs are my most favourite things about working in the beauty industry. I am a strong believer in the positive, stress busting effects of beauty and complementary treatments on our mind, body and spirit, and nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing a happy, satisfied client leaving the salon with a new glow and confidence. Whilst beauty is my first passion, I also draw a lot of enjoyment out of my daily yoga practice, occasional retail therapy, gardening and growing organic vegetables in my allotment. I look forward to using my expertise to provide a wide range of top quality, bespoke beauty treatments to my growing clientele at Danielle Carr Hairdressing in Newington. See you soon!
